We have tons of opportunities for volunteers to lend a hand at Chicago’s biggest Thanksgiving Day run!
We can use all the helping hands we can for the Turkey Day Chicago. If you are a leader of a group larger than 10 people and would like to bring your own team of volunteers, please reach out to our volunteer coordinator directly at email@example.com. We’ll find a good fit for a group of any size!

Adopt an Aid Station Contest
Introducing our new Adopt an Aid Station Contest! We invite any 501(c)3 organizations or local schools to participate for a chance to win money for your group. We’ll provide the water, cups and tables, but we’re asking YOU to provide the entertainment to motivate our participants through the race.
Each group will be challenged to create a theme for their aid station. Once the theme gets approved, it’s time to let the fun begin! Break out those banners, balloons and noisemakers because the louder, crazier and more creative, the better. Decorations, costumes, music and props are highly encouraged.
Your group must fulfill our volunteer quantity for aid stations as assigned by our volunteer coordinator. The theme must be pre-approved two weeks prior to the race. Please note, the cost of theme supplies is the sole responsibility of the group or individual.
How to win?
At the end of the event, athletes will vote on the best aid station in our post-event survey. The winner will be announced one week after the event via social media and email. We’re looking forward to seeing what kind of stations you come up with for this year!
