Registration/Tee Shirt Distribution
Event Crew will work with participants as they arrive to pick up their race number and T-shirts. These participants have been pre-registered online or by mail. Event Crew will also help tear down the pre-registration area.
Event Crew’s main job is to monitor intersections, control crowds along the course, set up signs and move barricades into place (if applicable). For safety reasons we cannot allow volunteers under the age of 16 at this position unless accompanied by an adult. Police will be positioned at all major intersections.
Event Crew will assist with setting up and tearing down the start/finish area. Event Crew will also help direct participants from registration to the start line, and from the finish line to the post-race party.
Event Crew will help set up and tear down the refreshments area. Event Crew will also encourage participants to keep moving through the lines and restock the product as necessary. The position may include some physical labor. Also, this Event Crew will help set up and tear down coffee and hot chocolate area, as well as help distribute product, and keep area clean and stocked.
Event Crew will be responsible for directing the crowd to appropriate areas including pre-registration, race day registration, T-shirt distribution, starting line, etc.
