Warm up your Thanksgiving appetite with the Turkey Day 5K! The Boise TD5K brings family and friends together to start the day in a healthy way. Come dressed the part, and join runners, joggers and walkers for this lighthearted run. We can’t anticipate the weather, but we can guarantee fun.
2012 was a record-breaking year here in Boise and we're looking forward to an even better 2013. Thanks to your participation and food donations, nearly 2,500 pounds of food was collected for the Boise Rescue Mission and Turkey Day 5K Boise was able to make financial contributions to the following organizations:
Local Special Olympics Teams: Boise Community Stars and Ghostbusters • Boise Rescue Mission: City Light Home for Women and Children • Boy Scout Troop 49 • North Star Charter School • Boise YMCA Swim Team
A special thank you, too, to the supporting volunteers who helped make the event such a success for both TD5K participants and their organizations!

We know you want to get together with your friends and family for this festive event, so spend less time in line at packet pickup by using a group pickup name during the registration process. We'll match the group names and put all packets together in advance for easier pickup.
Boise Rescue Mission and Local Special Olympics Teams
Proceeds from the Boise Turkey Day 5K benefit the Boise Rescue Mission's City Light Home for Women and Children, as well as our local Special Olympics teams. Special Olympians from the Boise Community Stars and Ghostbusters teams will be on course serving Thanksgiving holiday cheers at the aid station and finish line.
Please help us fill up the local area food banks by donating non-perishable food items at packet pickup and in the start area on Thanksgiving morning.
